About Me

My academic background is in bioethics, medical anthropology, and evolutionary biology. I've worked in research labs, gone on an archaeological dig in Israel, and done paleoanthropological fieldwork in Ethiopia. My primary interests involve end-of-life decision making, public health, the patient-physician relationship, and social and environmental influences on health.

I am also a self-professed nerd/geek. Some of my personal hobbies and interests include: tea, Dungeons and Dragons/Pathfinder (and other tabletop RPGs), mapmaking for D&D, reading, and theatre. My Hobbies page is currently under construction but I do have a blog where I occasionally write about some of my interests.
